Adi Hütter rules out Borussia Mönchengladbach move: “I have a contract with Eintracht.” | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Adi Hütter has responded to speculation linking him with the vacant Borussia Mönchengladbach role when Marco Rose leaves for Borussia Dortmund in the summer.

“I’m staying,” Hütter told Sky Germany. “I don’t deal with speculation at all. I have a contract with Eintracht, where I feel very comfortable. That’s why there is no discussion at all.”

Borussia Mönchengladbach announced on February 15 that Rose will leave the club at the end of the season and join Borussia Dortmund, replacing Lucien Favre.

Hütter is one name alongside Florian Kohfeldt (Werder Bremen), Jesse Marsch (RB Salzburg) and Gerardo Seoane (BSC Young Boys) to be shortlisted as Rose’s successor.

Since Rose’s announcement, Borussia Mönchengladbach have failed to win in three games (Mainz, Manchester City & RB Leipzig) and haven’t won in the Bundesliga since beating Borussia Dortmund on January 22, a run of five games without a win.

Qualification for next season’s Champions League remains a priority for Rose and sporting director Max Eberl with Die Fohlen currently occupying eighth.
