The talented French striker Mathys Tel will continue to wear the FC Bayern shirt next season, regardless of who will be on the FCB bench. His advisor has made a very clear commitment to the German record champions.

There has been a lot of speculation and rumours about Mathys Tel’s sporting future in recent months, with the youngster repeatedly linked with a move away from Bayern. However, with his contract extension in March at the latest, it is clear that the attacker will play a key role in Munich’s plans.

Tel advisor Gadiri Camara has once again made it clear that the young Frenchman will not be leaving the club in the summer. A loan is also not an option for the player: „He is in a process in which he is learning from the elite. We’ll take the roses and therefore also the thorn,“ he emphasised in an interview with tz.

Tel shows significant improvement

According to Camara, the ongoing coaching debate has no effect on Tel: „No matter who will be coach next season, Mathys will be available and will continue to learn in order to conquer his glory and the titles that everyone in Munich is waiting for. That is his only concern after an instructive season. He is 1000 per cent Mia san mia and proud of it.“

Tel made a total of 40 appearances for the German record champions this season, but only managed to collect 1,324 match minutes. The attacker scored nine goals and provided five assists in his many brief appearances. Last year, he made 28 appearances and scored six goals.

Tel is not the only one who sees his future in Munich. Sporting director Max Eberl has also emphasised that the 19-year-old is „an important component“ for Bayern.
