Don Robertson has been appointed as the referee for Celtic’s Glasgow Derby clash with Rangers. The Scottish Champions travel across Glasgow on Thursday and could go 17 points clear with three points against Philippe Clement’s side.
Experienced referee Robertson has been given the second league meeting between the sides. Robertson, who last officiated Celtic in their 1-0 away with against Aberdeen, will be assisted by David Roome and Ross MacLeod.
Meanwhile, at Clydesdale House, Nick Walsh is on VAR duties with Daniel McFarlane assisting.
Celtic have emerged victorious in the two meetings between the sides this year and will be eager to extend this with a win over their rivals. For Clement, he is in last chance saloon and knows that he needs something to show for to keep the baying crowd at bay.
Celtic will be hoping that there are no controversial decisions from the officials with the game on the pitch creating the headlines and not statements from Ibrox.
