Rangers closed the gap to Celtic with a 3-0 win in Thursday's Glasgow derby.
Scorers: Hagi 7', Pröpper 66', Danilo 81'
Ianis Hagi put Philippe Clement's side ahead inside just seven minutes with a rolled finish after being teed up by Nicolas Raskin on the edge of the penalty area.
A lively second half saw the reigning Scottish champions denied a potential leveller after Kyogo Furuhashi had lobbed Liam Kelly before he was later ruled offside.
The hosts continued to pile on the pressure and should have doubled their lead when Václav Černý's shot cannoned back off Kasper Schmeichel's righthand post.
But the Gers finally produced a second goal through Robin Pröpper sliding home a rebound at the far post after Schmeichel had parried Raskin's header at a corner.
Danilo added a third from close-range as Cameron Carter-Vickers' clearance of a Jefté shot broke fortuitously for him to round off a comprehensive victory.
Rangers are now 11 points behind Brendan Rodgers' side, who previously took the spoils from December's Scottish League Cup final.
