Borussia Dortmund are considering bringing Randal Kolo Muani (25) back to the Bundesliga, where the PSG centre-forward flourished with Eintracht Frankfurt last season. The France international is considered a priority signing for the Champions League finalists, according to a report this Wednesday from L’Equipe.

The outlet understands that thanks to the higher-than-anticipated prize money bagged from their European campaign, Dortmund want to revamp their attack, to bring competition to Germany international Niclas Füllkrug. Sebastien Haller and Youssoufa Moukoko are set to be transfer-listed.

For now, the BVB executives would favor a loan with the option to buy for Kolo Muani rather than a definitive transfer, although they would consider a €50m outlay for the former Nantes youth product, which is more than half the €90m transfer fee PSG agreed to lure him away from Eintracht Frankfurt last summer.

Serhou Guirassy, BVB’s plan B

The outlet adds that PSG have no intention of letting go of Randal Kolo Muani, considering Les Parisiens president Nasser Al Khelaifi pushed hard for his signing. Besides, the centre-forward is convinced he will return to his best next season. In his debut season in Paris, Kolo Muani logged only nine goals and five assists in all competitions, far from the heights of last season (23 goals, 14 assists).

Should Dortmund fail in their quest to bring RKM back to the Bundesliga, die Schwarzgelbe would turn their attention to VFB Stuttgart scoring sensation Serhou Guirassy. The former Rennes striker has logged 26 goals in 27 Bundesliga games. The 28-year-old’s release clause is estimated at €18m.
