Against this backdrop, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang spoke to Telefoot and didn’t miss the chance to throw a little jab. "The Olympico... there’s only one Olympique! I’m obviously expecting a big match, one that can give us a platform for the rest of the season. It’s good that it comes early, so we can test ourselves straight away and then move forward," said the Gabonese striker.

Aubameyang also underlined OM’s ambitions for this season: "What we’re hoping for is silverware. The club deserves to feel that again, to win trophies. I always want to make the fans happy."
