Monaco’s Denis Zakaria rejects two Saudi Arabia offers | OneFootball

Whilst AS Monaco and Al-Ahli remain in talks over a move for Denis Zakaria (28), the player himself has rejected two offers from the Saudi side, according to a report from Foot Mercato.

Monaco were expected to sell this summer. However, the players expected to leave, such as Maghnes Akliouche, Wilfried Singo, Vanderson, Caio Henrique, Breel Embolo, for example, have not attracted sufficient offers.

As a result, Foot Mercato understands that Monaco are looking to sell club captain Zakaria, who remains a key member of the squad and who started against Le Havre AC over the weekend. The Principality club are even anticipating his departure and have identified two potential replacements.

However, the Swiss international has yet to accept a move and has even rejected two contract offers from Al-Ahli. Talks between the player and the club remain ongoing. However, the Gulf State club have also identified alternatives, including Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Yves Bissouma (28).
