Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho made his return to training this Wednesday, July 17, 2025, with his club, FC Sevilla.

After a lengthy absence, Kelechi Iheanacho has finally resurfaced at FC Sevilla. Although he's been tipped for a move away for several months, the Nigerian striker resumed training solo following a bout of illness.
Arriving last summer with hopes of injecting new energy into the Andalusian attack, Iheanacho never truly found his footing. Lacking game time, he was loaned to Middlesbrough this winter.
His absence at the start of the 2025 preseason inevitably reignited transfer rumors. But the club has set the record straight: the former Leicester player was simply suffering from indigestion. He's expected to rejoin the squad in the coming days.
