Manchester City goalkeeper James Trafford had a day to forget as his side were beaten 2-0 by Tottenham Hotspur at the Etihad Stadium. After his dismal performance, Manchester City fans appear more interested than ever in their team’s links with Italian goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma.

Trafford should’ve been sent off for a foul and handball outside of the box in the first half before shortly after a poor pass from the young goalkeeper allowed Spurs to score their second.

Whilst City continue to be linked with a move for former Milan keeper Donnarumma, after PSG have decided they no longer require the services of the Italian, the fans are now more desperate than ever for a top goalkeeper.
Ederson has been linked with a potential move to Galatasaray and Trafford has played both of Pep Guardiola’s side’s Premier League games this season.

One user on X wrote “Donnarumma here we go at Monday 7am sharpish” whilst another City fan noted “Donnarumma has more international trophies than Trafford has international caps.”
Social media was flooded with City fans eager to see Donnarumma join the Premier League giants, whilst last night, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted on X to confirm that Guardiola’s side are working on a deal for the Italian.
