Gianluigi Donnarumma (26) had the opportunity to say goodbye to fans of Paris Saint-Germain during their first home game of the season on Friday night against Angers, which they won 1-0. The Italian stopper was joined on the pitch by some of his teammates as he stepped out on the pitch for the final time at the Parc des Princes.
It has been confirmed by both the player and the club that the 26-year-old has no future with Les Parisiens. Donnarumma was shocked by this decision, but following the arrival of Lucas Chevalier from Lille, the former AC Milan goalkeeper has been forced to find a new club.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City are still working on a potential move to sign the Italian international keeper. However, the Premier League club must first sell one of their existing options before they make a move for the PSG goalkeeper, with three first-team options currently on their books.
