Mahdi Camara
Stade Rennais is now on the verge of pulling off a major coup. An agreement has just been reached with Brest for the transfer of Mahdi Camara.
Although he was close to joining Nice, where a four-year contract was waiting for him, Mahdi Camara ultimately changed his mind. In just a few hours, the Gambian was won over by the ambitious project at Stade Rennais and his conversations with Habib Beye.
On Wednesday, both parties agreed on a four-year deal. The only thing left was to finalize terms between the clubs. This afternoon, RMC Sport reported that Stade Brestois and Rennes had agreed on a transfer fee of €8 million. The player is already in Rennes and will undergo his medical examination this evening.
