Interesting to hear Teddy Sheringham talking about Alexander Isak.

He has made a regular habit of it in recent times.

Teddy Sheringham especially obsessed with what the future could and should hold for Alexander Isak.

It has been some journey for the former Man U striker with this modern day United star.

Teddy Sheringham talking about the possibility of his old club Manchester United signing Alexander Isak – 20 January 2025:

“Manchester United is still a massive draw for any player and playing for the club is still a highlight of anyone’s career.

“Would Alexander Isak consider joining Manchester United if a bid came in?

“Without a doubt.”

Then a month later, there was this.

Teddy Sheringham talking about the possibility of his old club Manchester United signing Alexander Isak – 13 February 2025:

“Would Alexander Isak come away from Newcastle to go to Man United at the moment?

“You’d like to think he would, being a Man United fan, but I’m not so sure he would, so the further they fall down the pecking order, the less chance they’ve got of signing top players.”

Now we have this.

“Alexander Isak is at a fantastic football club that wants to improve, he should stay where he is.

“They’re ambitious, and the fans should be excited about where the club is heading.

“The place is on fire at every home game, and I don’t see any reason why he would want to leave an amazing club that plays to his strengths and allows him to score goals.

“He is the best striker in the Premier League without a doubt, and my advice to him would be to enjoy his football, love the position he’s in and carry on scoring goals.”

What a journey Teddy Sheringham has been on with Alexander Isak.

Just over two months ago Teddy insisting that Alexander Isak would ‘without a doubt’ be interested in leaving Newcastle United for a struggling club battling relegation.

Now less than another couple of months further on, Teddy Sheringham declaring that the only club for Alexander Isak is ‘amazing’ Newcastle United and he should stay there, even if the rival successful trophy winning clubs come calling, never mind struggling ones battling relegation.
