Chelsea could still sign another new player this window, and transfer expert Fabrizio Romano had the latest on it last night.

It’s been a bit of a mad window for Chelsea and there’s been plenty of ups and plenty of downs. Many Chelsea fans have been left disappointed in not signing Xavi Simons after spending all summer in advanced negotiations to bring him in. But there is a chance that they still sign another new attacking midfielder, and I’m not talking about the young dude from Brighton.

In the meantime, there’s other dramatic situations going on such as the one with striker Nicolas Jackson, who has been left fuming with Chelsea and has no intentions of returning to the club and wants to join Bayern.

And in amongst all that madness, Chelsea were confirming another new signing in attack, winger Alejandro Garnacho arriving from Manchester United after being spotted at Stamford Bridge watching his new team beat Fulham 2-0 yesterday afternoon.

As well as Garnacho, it looks like Chelsea are still in the market to sign another attacking midfielder as well.

Chelsea in for Fermin

Chelsea are still trying to sign Fermin Lopez from Barcelona this window, and Romano posted the last on it last night, as relayed on X.

He says:

“Fermin Lopez is still the same situation; Barcelona still don’t have any request from the player to leave.”

Chelsea sent an offer in to his club yesterday but there is no word as to whether it was accepted or not and it seems like Barcelona will not accept anything unless the player goes to them and asks to leave.

Two days left

Chelsea have just today and tomorrow left now to try and secure this transfer or any other transfer they are trying to complete as the summer window draws to an end for another year.
