The board at La Liga outfit Sevilla have found a verbal agreement over the terms of a transfer with their counterparts at Bayer Leverkusen.
That’s according to market expert Matteo Moretto, who points towards Loïc Badé as being at the centre of this accord.
Stopper Badé was for his part first linked with a move to the BayArena earlier this summer.
Amid a search for a replacement for the outbound Jonathan Tah, the Frenchman was quickly labelled as a leading target on the part of the Leverkusen brass.
The links between the parties subsequently went somewhat quiet, giving rise to suggestions that Erik ten Hag and co. had turned attentions elsewhere.
But as alluded to above, after talks between the parties were recently kicked back into gear, a transfer now appears to be on the verge of completion.
As per a report from journalist Matteo Moretto:
‘Verbal agreement between Bayer Leverkusen and Sevilla for Loïc Badé. The negotiation is close to completion for almost €30 million, including bonuses.’
