AC Milan’s winter transfer window might not have ended with the deals for Joao Felix and Warren Bondo, according to reports.

According to MilanNews, the incoming market is not over yet despite the arrivals of Felix and Bondo from Chelsea and Monza respectively. The Rossoneri management are in fact also trying to close a deal for Riccardo Sottil of Fiorentina.

As a reminder, Matteo Moretto of Relevo reported earlier today that Milan and Fiorentina have reached an agreement for Sottil over a paid loan with an option to buy set at around €10m. However, it was said to be dependent on them finding a replacement.

Nicolo Zaniolo has since joined from Atalanta which perhaps slightly opens the door for Sottil, but time is running out to try and close the operation before the 00:00 CET deadline.

Sottil can play as an attacking midfielder or winger, and has five goals plus three assists in 25 games across all competitions this season for La Viola.

It could possibly be linked to how the Samuel Chukwueze situation plays out, given that the Nigeria international has apparently been the subject of a late approach from Fulham. As mentioned, though, time is running out for things to be completed.

Gianluca Di Marzio and our own Luca Maninetti also confirm that Milan are looking to finish the window with a final flourish.

UPDATE: Fabrizio Romano has given the ‘here we go’. The deal in place is a €1m loan fee plus €10m buy option.
