Real Betis are targeting Inter Milan’s Kristjan Asllani as a replacement for Atletico Madrid bound midfielder Johnny Cardoso.

This according to Spanish outlet AS, via FCInter1908. They report that the Nerazzurri could allow Asllani to go for a fee of around €10 million.

La Liga side Real Betis are looking to replace midfielder Johnny Cardoso next season.

The US international was a pivotal players for the Andalusian side last campaign. Both in La Liga and on their way to the Europa Conference League final.

However, Betis are set to lose Cardoso this summer. Atletico Madrid are reportedly on the verge of a deal to sign the American.

According to Spanish outlet AS, Inter midfielder Kristjan Asllani is a name that has come up in Betis’s search for a replacement for Cardoso.

The Spaniards feel that the 22-year-old has a similar profile to Cardoso.

Moreover, AS report, Betis anticipate that Asllani could take significant strides forward playing under veteran coach Manuel Pellegrini.

According to AS, Inter could let Asllani go for a fee of around €10 million.

That is in spite of the fact that the Nerazzurri paid around €16 million when they signed Kristjan Asllani from Empoli three years ago.
