Chelsea have asked for information about Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen as they continue to weigh up whether to sign a new keeper according to reports.
The Blues are once again set for a busy summer and have already signed Liam Delap for £30m, with more new faces expected to follow.
Chelsea are still in the market for a centre back, left winger and versatile forward as they look to strengthen Enzo Maresca’s squad ahead of next season.
Whilst a striker was the main priority many fans want to see a new goalkeeper and the Blues were strongly linked with AC Milan’s Mike Maignan earlier this month.
Milan valued the France international at around £20-£25m, but Chelsea weren’t prepared to pay more than £12.6m, and the move therefore didn’t happen.

Chelsea aren’t expected to go back for Maignan this summer, much to the disappointment of supporters, whilst it’s currently thought the chances of signing a new keeper in the window are unlikely.
However, Caught Offside have reported Chelsea have asked for information regarding Ter Stegen, with the German international on their list of options.
The report adds Manchester United have also made checks, whilst the 33-year-old faces an uncertain future following the arrival of Joan Garcia from Espanyol.
Caught Offside add a final decision isn’t imminent and the Blues will continue to monitor the situation over the next few weeks.
Djordje Petrovic was expected to compete for the number one shirt after excelling on loan at Strasbourg, but it now appears he will be sold.
