Brazil, in particular, has drawn significant interest from Real Madrid’s scouting team, although they are exploring emerging talent in other football-rich regions as well.

One of Sweden’s fastest-rising young talents, Roony Bardghji is hailed as his country’s next big thing and unsurprisingly been on Real Madrid’s radar.

Bad news for youngster

Now, Mundo Deportivo have come out to report that the 18-year-old winger for FC Copenhagen, Roony Bardghji, injured his knee during practice and will be sidelined for nine to twelve months.

This comes across as a tough blow for the youngster, with Real Madrid reportedly very attentive to the strides he was making in Sweden.

Roony Bardghji had also amassed interest from other top clubs like Bayer Leverkusen, Juventus, Chelsea, and league rivals Barcelona.

With his contract set to expire in December next year, Bardghji would have been hoping to make a strong impression to attract the interest of top clubs like Real Madrid.

However, his recent knee injury is a major setback, potentially slowing his momentum and jeopardizing his future opportunities.

Dreams of Real Madrid

The Swedish youngster has not shied away from professing his love for Real Madrid in the past, declaring them as an ideal destination.

“The dream is, of course, to take the next step to the major leagues, clubs, and tournaments. The club I want to end up in? I want to play for Real Madrid and stay for many years,” he claimed in February last year.
