According to a report and images from Off Investigation, about 25 pro-Palestine protestors entered the offices of the French Football Federation (FFF) today to protest the decision to hold the upcoming match between France and Israel at the Stade de France on the 14th of November.

The protestors known as “Stop Genocide,” told the French outlet that “We would like to explain the reasons why we are indignant and scandalised by the announcement of such a match, while in other countries… matches against Israel were relocated or held behind closed doors.”

The FFF were said to have offered to speak to the group’s spokesperson if the rest of the protestors would leave the premises. However, this offer was reportedly rejected. In the afternoon the group were surrounded by around 30 CRS police officers who escorted them peacefully away from the offices.

On the 1st of November, Bruno Retailleau, the Minister of Interior for France confirmed that the game would take place at the Stade de France. However, Retailleau revealed that in order to avoid incidents there would be an adapted security system and that there could possibly be a limit on the number of attendees.
