A player has arrived for his medical but one is not there yet in what is expected to be a double Chelsea transfer deal today.

The Blues have been getting to work for the final week of the transfer window as they look to sell, and potentially even buy in still as well in these final days.

There was some surprise news on Chelsea potentially looking to still bring in a new centre back this window, with Piero Hincapie now expected to leave Bayer Leverkusen this week and Chelsea are noted as having concrete interest in signing him.

And defender Axel Disasi is one player that Chelsea could look to sell still this week to balance funds to sign Hincapie and he’s become the subject of interest from a number of Premier League clubs who are trying to find creative ways to sign the centre back this window.

But we are focusing on a double transfer deal that could happen today. Borussia Dortmund are trying to sign both Carney Chukwuemeka and Aaron Anselmino from Chelsea this week and one is set for his medical today.

Double deal all set

Sky in Germany are reporting that Carney Chukwuemeka has landed in Dortmund and will undergo the medical check with Dortmund TODAY.

But Anselmino was not yet on the flight as there are still some details to clarify. If everything goes well, the center-back will join today as well.

Good moves for both

Dortmund is a decent move for both players in my view and hopefully Anselmino will play and be able to develop on loan, whilst Chukwuemeka is making a good permanent move for his own career and will hopefully go on to show just how good he is.
