Paris FC interested in Luca Zidane | OneFootball

According to a report from L’Équipe Paris FC are exploring the possibility of signing Luca Zidane (27) as a back-up option for Obed Nkambadio (22) – who is expected to start Les Parisiens‘ Ligue 1 season as number one. Zidane, son of France legend Zinédine, is currently contracted to Granada CF in the Spanish second tier until 2027, but has a reported release clause of around €2m. He joined Granada last summer from Eibar for €500,000 and started regularly this past season before suffering an ankle injury in March — notably in a match against his younger brother Théo, who plays for Córdoba.

The former Real Madrid youth product has never played professionally in France but has built a solid CV in Spain’s Liga 2, racking up 133 starts with the likes of Rayo Vallecano, Racing Santander, and Eibar. He was briefly first-choice at Rayo during their promotion campaign to La Liga in 2021 and featured twice in the top flight under his father during his time at Madrid.

The move would mark a first return to France for the 2015 U17 European Champion, who has previously attracted interest from RC Lens and Montpellier in past transfer windows.GFFN | George Boxall
