RB Leipzig have named Ole Werner as their new head coach.
The 37-year-old makes the move from Werder Bremen and has signed a deal that runs until 2027.
Leipzig parted company with Marco Rose back in March, with Zsolt Löw taking charge on an interim basis for the rest of the 2024/25 campaign.
Werner took over at Bremen in 2021 after leaving Holstein Kiel and made an immediate impact, guiding the team to promotion from the 2. Bundesliga with a second-place finish.
Since then, he’s helped re-establish the club in the top tier, finishing 13th in his first full season before going on to secure ninth and then eighth place in the Bundesliga.
