Andrei Ionut Radu left Inter Milan after six years to join Serie A relegation fighters Venezia on a short-term contract.
Venezia announced the agreement to sign the 27-year-old on a six-month deal yesterday.
Inter landed Andrei Radu from Genoa in 2019 as a backup goalkeeper for Samir Handanovic.
However, the Romania international’s career at Giuseppe Meazza never took off.
Instead, he wandered from one loan spell to another.
Indeed, Genoa, Parma, Cremonese, Auxerre, and Bournemouth were his destinations in the past six years.
One of Radu’s most infamous moments at Inter came on April 27, 2022.
Handed a rare Serie A start, Radu made an epic blunder to gift Bologna a late 2-1 winner.

As a result, AC Milan waltzed away with the title, putting the final nail in his coffin as a potential Nerazzurri starter.
Deemed surplus to requirements by Simone Inzaghi, Radu left Inter as a flop.
Meanwhile, his first-team prospects at Venezia look better.
Indeed, Inter loanee Filip Stankovic has been brilliant between the sticks this season. However, the Serbian youngster has suffered a serious injury.
Therefore, Radu will likely get his chance to start soon.
