Salis Abdul Samed has officially signed with OGC Nice this Thursday, August 14, 2025. The Ghanaian midfielder leaves RC Lens to join Les Aiglons on a permanent transfer, reuniting with his former coach Franck Haise.
After two seasons at Lens, where he established himself as a key piece of the Artois side, Salis Abdul Samed now joins Le Gym. Nice confirmed his arrival late in the day, welcoming the player back under Franck Haise, whom he knows well from their previous collaboration up north. This transfer clearly reflects the Nice staff’s intent to bolster their midfield with a player who brings physicality, work rate, and real stability.
"We were looking for dynamism, impact, and good energy in midfield. Salis is a balancing player, with a slightly more defensive profile than his direct competitors. He gives everything on the pitch, has a real personality, and his knowledge of Ligue 1 as well as his human qualities will help foster communication and a positive dynamic in the dressing room," explained Florian Maurice, Nice's Sporting Director, at the signing of the Ghanaian international.
