Official: Real Madrid sell youngster in permanent deal | OneFootball

La Liga giants Real Madrid have this week parted with a long-time member of the club’s youth ranks.

The player in question? Lorenzo Aguado.

Aguado, for his part, is a 22-year-old defender, who generally operates at right-back.

The youngster’s name will likely be a familiar one to those of a Real Madrid persuasion, after he managed a trio of first-team appearances spread across La Liga and the Copa del Rey this past season.

As much came as a reward for 15 years of hard work in making his way through the academy ranks in Spain’s capital.

As alluded to above, though, this has not stopped those behind the scenes at the Santiago Bernabéu, this week, from sanctioning Aguado’s exit.

As per a statement across the website and social media platforms of La Liga 2 outfit Albacete:

‘Alba strengthens its defensive line. Lorenzo Aguado Herrera signs for Albacete Balompié for the next three seasons following the transfer agreement reached with Real Madrid Castilla.’
