Newcastle United third bid imminent after Wolves reject second Jorgen Strand Larsen offer- Reports

Late Tuesday night saw Wolves reject an improved offer of £55m for Jorgen Strand Larsen.

Then the likes of Sky Sports and others also reporting on the increased and rejected bid.
The news came as Wolves came back to win 3-2 against West Ham in the League Cup, with two goals from…Jorgen Strand Larsen who came off the bench.
Monday had seen an offer totalling £50m bid and rejected by Wolves for their star striker.
Tuesday a £55m offer turned down.
Now the various media say that it is strongly expected that a third bid is imminent.
The man from The Mail says that whilst he expects a new offer to be made, he understands that Newcastle United will have a limit on their valuation of a player who Wolves paid £23m this summer for, a price that was fixed as part of a loan move for Jorgen Strand Larsen that was agreed in summer 2024.
The Wolves striker had 18 direct goal involvements (scored 14 and four assists) last season in the Premier League, playing 2,603 PL minutes, that worked out at a direct goal involvement every 144 minutes on average. A goal every 185 minutes on average.
Jan Aage Fjortoft is a former Norway international (and Middlesbrough player!) and strongly expects his countryman to join Newcastle United.
