It’s been a few days since Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Manuel Ugarte agreed to personal terms. However, the hurdle between the two sides is the transfer fee.

According to a recent report from L’Equipe, PSG might be asking for €70 million for Ugarte. Moreover, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reported that Manchester United and PSG are still in daily contact.

Still, there’s nothing further than the dialogue the two teams are having, as the asking price is the significant hurdle. The newest information from Sky Sports notes that the Parisians are standing firm.

The English outlet reports that there’s a valuation gap between Man United and PSG. The capital club doesn’t want to sell the Uruguayan international for anything less than €70 million.

FootballTransfers says the Red Devils are eyeing Danish midfielder Morten Hjulmand from Sporting CP, who recently dazzled with a stunning goal against England at Euro 2024. This move comes as Manchester United hesitates to meet the asking price for Ugarte.

It’ll be worth watching to see if an agreement is reached or if the Premier League club decides to chase another option.
