Leeds United and French club interested in ex-Lille attacker Yusuf Yazıcı | OneFootball

Leeds United and an unnamed Ligue 1 club are interested in signing Yusuf Yazıcı (28), according to RMC Sport.

Yazıcı began his career at Turkish club Trabzonspor, where he made 100 appearances and scored 22 goals before joining LOSC Lille in August 2019.

After struggling to secure a regular first-team spot, he had two loan spells away from the Decathlon Arena. He joined CSKA Moscow for the second half of the 2021–22 campaign, scoring eight goals in 10 Russian Premier League appearances. He was then loaned back to Trabzonspor for the 2022–23 season.

Yazıcı returned to Lille for the 2023–24 campaign and made a total of 42 appearances, impressing particularly in the club’s UEFA Conference League run with five goals in 12 appearances.

The Turkish international joined Olympiacos on a free transfer in September 2024 but has made only one appearance for the club due to a cruciate ligament injury.
