Newcastle fans were happy to see Alexander Isak start against Brighton. He just did not start the game but also converted the spot kick which gave the Magpies the lead in the FA Cup tie. Unfortunately, they could not hold onto that lead and lost the tie which knocked them out of the FA Cup.
Things became worse for the Magpies as Isak had to come off in the 86th minute of the game. This raised speculation about the Sweden international being unavailable for the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool on the 16th of March.

But, recently, Alexander Isak addressed the rumours of him being unavailable for the big final against Liverpool. Newcastle used Iask on their Carabao Cup media day. This raised the hope of the Newcastle fans that Isak might be available for the game. Now, Isak has personally told whether he will be available for the Liverpool game or not.
When he was asked about his injury status, Alexander Isak replied with a three-word message to his fans and doubters. He said (via Chronicle Live);

With Anthony Gordon missing this game due to his red card and Lewis Hall out for the season, Isak’s availability will bring positivity to Newcastle fans.
