PSG have won their first-ever Champions League title after humiliating Inter Milan 5-0 in Munich. Luis Enrique’s Les Parisiens have demolished Simone Inzaghi’s Nerazzurri and recorded the biggest ever win in a Champions League final. Goals from Achraf Hakimi, Désiré Doué, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Senny Mayulu have offered PSG their greatest ever night. For their first season without Kylian Mbappé, who left as a free agent to join Real Madrid, PSG have finally put an end to their long wait to win the Champions League.
The Real Madrid centre-forward, who remains at loggerheads with PSG over €55m worth of unpaid wages, has taken to Instagram to congratulate his former teammates in the French capital. “The big day has finally arrived. Victory, and in style, for an entire club. Congratulations PSG.” Mbappé is set to link up with some of PSG’s Champions League-winning players as he’ll join France’s camp for the Nations League finals in the coming days.
