Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has moved to praise a fellow member of Los Blancos’ frontline, in the aftermath of the club’s meeting with Real Sociedad.

Carlo Ancelotti’s troops, of course, are fresh off another three-point haul on Saturday night.

After making the trip to Anoeta for a La Liga meeting with Real Sociedad, the reigning Spanish champions battled their way to an eventual 2-0 triumph.

Vinícius Jr. was first on target in San Sebastian, opening the scoring from the penalty spot just shy of the hour mark.

Then, upon Real being awarded a 2nd spot-kick 15 minutes later, it was Kylian Mbappé who took responsibility, slotting home to round out the evening’s scoring.

This came at the direct call of Vinícius, who again showcased his team-first mentality at the expense of personal glory.

Post-match, the Brazilian, in turn, was singled out for some well-earned praise by his attacking partner-in-crime:

“Vinícius is a great player, he does a lot for Real Madrid and I am very happy to play with him.”

Mbappé continued:

“Who takes the penalties is not important, the important thing is that all four were goals.”
