Inter Milan have sounded out the possibility of a move to the Saudi Pro League for Marko Arnautovic, Joaquin Correa, and Andrei Radu.

This according to Italian outlet FCInterNews. The outlet report that a foreign intermediary with connections to the Saudi top flight was at the Nerazzurri headquarters today.

A big part of Inter’s summer transfer window will consist of finding new clubs for players who do not have a place in the squad.

In some cases, this means a loan move.

However, there are some players who the Nerazzurri will be keen to sell on a permanent basis.

Particularly in the case of players whose current contracts run out in twelve months’ time, Inter will be aiming to offload once and for all.

And naturally, the Saudi Pro League presents a potentially fruitful avenue in this respect.

Whilst the Saudi league has not seen as much movement as last summer – when the division’s top clubs spent big to bring in big name players from European clubs – there is still movement.

And there is a precedent that big Saudi clubs would be willing to spend on transfers for players who have not necessarily been in the best form in Europe in the last season or two.

Inter Sound Out Saudi Pro League Moves For Arnautovic, Correa & Radu

Three Inter players whose current contracts expire at the end of next June are Arnautovic, Correa, and Radu.

In the case of Arnautovic, Inter reportedly are not going to force the Austrian out the door.

The Nerazzurri would be happy to keep Arnautovic in the squad until the end of his deal.

However, there is a sense that if an offer arrived that would allow Inter not to take a capital loss on the former West Ham United and Stoke City striker, they would certainly listen to it.

And if Inter were to offload Arnautovic, this could open the door to signing a different attacker.

By all accounts, Genoa’s Albert Gudmundsson is Inter’s top target in this respect.

Meanwhile, Correa and Radu spent last season on loan with Marseille and Bournemouth respectively.

Both are out of contract with Inter at the end of next June. And neither would have any place in the squad next season.

Therefore, Inter are certainly aiming to sell both once and for all.

According to FCIN, in talks with an intermediary, these were the three players who Inter discussed. They sought information as to whether there is any Saudi interest in the trio.
