Feyenoord's new offer for Mamadou Sangaré: Quick updates!
Feyenoord Rotterdam have shifted their focus to Malian attacking midfielder Mamadou "Lefty" Sangaré after completing the €5 million signing of Gaoussou Diarra (with a 15% sell-on clause). The Dutch giants have returned with an improved €10 million bid for the Rapid Vienna playmaker after their initial €8 million approach was rejected months ago.
The 23-year-old Malian international, contracted until 2029, has emerged as Feyenoord's prime target since February. While negotiations continue, Sangaré remains focused on preparing for Rapid Vienna's upcoming Champions League qualifier against Montenegro's FK Dečić Tuzi - coming off a season where he contributed 3 goals and 2 assists in 43 appearances across all competitions.
His market value continues to rise after being named Mali's most promising young talent, attracting interest from Turkish heavyweights Besiktas and Galatasaray - the latter having seen a €3 million plus player exchange offer (involving Yusuf Demir) rejected earlier. Trabzonspor have also entered the race for the versatile attacker, setting up a potential bidding war as Feyenoord looks to secure their man before the transfer window closes.
