Former Juventus midfielder Blaise Matuidi feels that Inter Milan are “solid and organized” but will be rooting for his old team PSG.
Speaking to reporters outside the 75th FIFA Congress, via FCInterNews, the 38-year-old gave his thoughts ahead of the Champions League final.
Inter Milan take on Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final at the end of this month.
It will be a season-defining match for both teams.
For Inter Milan, it is the second final appearance in the space of just three years. They will be desperate to make up for their 1-0 loss to Manchester City in 2023.
Meanwhile, for PSG it will be their second ever appearance in Europe’s most prestigious club match.
The Parisians have never won the Champions League before. They lost their only other final appearance 1-0 to Bayern Munich in 2020.

Former France international midfielder Blaise Matuidi spent three years playing in Serie A. He was at Juventus between 2017 and 2020.
However, Matuidi played at Paris Saint-Germain and in Ligue 1 for the bulk of his career before then.
The 38-year-old commented that “the whole city is buzzing.”
“Experiencing a Champions League final is an extraordinary for Paris,” he went on. “PSG have been able to react well to the departure of Kylian, who’s doing great things in Madrid.”
“But Dembele has inherited his legacy brilliantly. He’s having an extraordinary season.”
Then, Matuidi noted that “Inter are a very solid team.”
“They’re organized, in the best Italian tradition. But they’re also capable of doing damage in attack, as we saw against Barcelona.”
Matuidi anticipated that “it will be a great match.”
“But obviously I’m hoping for a win for PSG.”
