“Deal is close” – Latest video from transfer reporter shows Chelsea about to do business | OneFootball

A deal is now apparently close for Chelsea to sign another new player this summer transfer window with things to conclude soon.

Chelsea are getting stuff done this week and have been working on a couple of new incoming transfer deals last week, over the weekend, and now early into this new working week as well.

It looks like Jorrel Hato from Ajax to Chelsea is now in the very final stages of negotiations and is now as close as it ever has been, according to the latest report that came out very late on Monday night.

But as well as Hato, we also know Chelsea are working hard to try and sign another Dutch player as well this week in the shape of Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig, with Chelsea fans dreaming of a double Dutch transfer capture.

Will we soon get a couple of done deals for the two Dutch stars? It looks that way now, yes.

Transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano has put out his latest video on DAZN on Monday, and not only is Hato to Chelsea close, he also states that Simons to Chelsea is close now as well.

He simply said:

“The Xavi Simons to Chelsea deal is CLOSE!”

This will be music to the ears of Chelsea fans this morning but they will just be hoping to now get confirmation from Romano and get that all important ‘here we go’ that does actually now finally feel like it will be here very soon.

A double announcement?

Imagine if Chelsea announced Hato and Simons together? That would be a very smart PR move and would get the fans very excited and on the edge of their seats.

I can see that happening actually!
