A current Manchester United coach has declared that he knows Cole Palmer’s family quite well in quotes that might concerns Blues fans.
Palmer is obviously a Manchester lad and I don’t think it’s any secret that his background is from the red part of Manchester rather than the sky blue, even though he did of course end up coming through the Manchester City academy.
But the way United are right now and the state of things at that club right now, maybe Chelsea fans needn’t be worried about anything at all right now.
However, the reality is that Chelsea need to get Champions League football this season otherwise it is clear that some of the star names are going to be getting itchy feet, including Cole Palmer. I personally can’t see him being content with not playing Champions League football next season so it will be interesting to see what happens there if we don’t.
But would he even entertain a move to United? And would Chelsea even sell him? If they did, I guess it would nee HUGE money for it to happen and for the player to physically push for a move.

Manchester United academy coach Colin Little has been revealing some things on an Athletic Podcast this week and it’s clear that there are United connections there with Palmer and his family.
Little said inn words quoted on X:
“I know Cole Palmer’s family quite well, I know his dad and his uncle, and we were close to getting Cole Palmer when he was about 16, believe it or not.”
Bottom line is that Palmer has a long contract at Chelsea so really, the ball is in our court on this one and there would be riots if they sold Palmer!
