Chiellini working to recreate BBC at Juventus – report | OneFootball

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Leonardo Bonucci isn’t the only ex-Juventus star tipped to return to the Allianz Stadium as Andrea Barzagli could also be offered a coaching role in the youth sector, recreating the legendary BBC alongside director Giorgio Chiellini.

Former Juventus defender Chiellini is expected to take a more prominent role at the club next season as the club looks to reshuffle their control room for 2025-26.

Multiple sources have reported that Chiellini has already met his former Juventus and Italy teammate Leonardo Bonucci to discuss his return to the club.

According to the latest Gazzetta dello Sport report, Bonucci is in line for a role in Juventus’ first team backroom staff, especially if Antonio Conte returns to the club as the head coach in 2025-26.

The pink paper adds that another ex-Juventus defender, Barzagli, could be offered a coaching role in the youth sector to recreate the historic BBC off the field.

During their careers, Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini won several trophies at Juventus, marking a legendary decade in which Juventus won nine Serie A titles from 2012 to 2020.

Barzagli also worked on Maurizio Sarri’s staff during the first part of 2019-20 and is now a pundit for DAZN Italia.
