Chelsea are reportedly still keen to add another big club to their BlueCo multi-club model alongside The Blues and Strasbourg.
The news comes after Chelsea beat ES Tunis 3-0 early on Wednesday morning in the Club World Cup in America after Blues head coach Enzo Maresca named a rotated starting Xl to rest a few players.
Chelsea needed to avoid a defeat to progress to the knockout rounds of the competition, and they did that with ease in the end against an opposition that they were just much better than in terms of quality.
Marc Cucurella got a deserved rest in the game, with Josh Acheampong starting at left back instead, but before the game, the Spanish international was expecting another tough game. But it was far from that for Chelsea in the end.
BlueCo already have both Chelsea, who are the flagship club, and Strasbourg, as their multi-club model but they want more.

Strasbourg fans have not always been happy to be owned by BlueCo and in fact, it’s often been the complete opposite with many fan protests being held and a general toxic feel amongst their fan base. Chelsea fans have not always been happy with their new ownership either.
Chelsea’s ownership group remains intent on adding Sporting Lisbon to their multi-club network, The Chelsea Chronicle reports this week.
Well-placed sources have apparently told The Chelsea Chronicle that Chelsea are still actively interested in Sporting and have made contact with the club’s top brass.
Chelsea have been linked with Sporting before but it has not happened so far – but the desire from BlueCo seemingly remains the same, they still want to add Sporting to the multi-club model.
