On a positive note, Jay Stansfield showed no ill effects from his goal-scoring return against Ipswich and is expected to lead the line. Summer acquisitions Kyogo Furuhashi, Demarai Gray, and Tommy Doyle are all available after impressing in the season opener.
Birmingham City: Allsop; Oyasi-Samuel, Neumann, Klarer, Cochrane; Iwata, Doyle, Gray, Stanfield, Aderson; Kyogo.
The match takes place at Ewood Park on Saturday 16 August 2025. Kick-off is at 15:00 BST.
