Following an agreement for the signing of Joan Garcia, Barcelona are now focused on finalising up to eight departures before 30 June, reports SPORT.
The sporting department is prioritising the exit of players who are not in the first-team plans and whose departures will significantly reduce the wage bill. Director Deco is managing several cases, with progress already made in some.
As per the report, Barcelona are particularly focused on resolving the exits of Ansu Fati and Clement Lenglet in the coming days.
Fati is close to a loan move to AS Monaco, with a €12 million purchase option and a buy-back clause for Barcelona. In Lenglet’s case, the likely outcome is that he will be released if he agrees to forgo the final two years of his contract so that he can join Atletico Madrid.

Barcelona have also decided that Pau Victor and Pablo Torre should leave in search of more playing time. Both players are available for sale with buy-back options.
Victor has attracted interest from five La Liga clubs and teams abroad, with Barça aiming to secure around €5 million. Pablo Torre, who has one year left on his contract, is drawing interest from the Bundesliga, although his fee could be lower.
Meanwhile, Barcelona are also working on two contract terminations. Oriol Romeu, who returns from his loan at Girona but is not in the club’s future plans, is expected to end his contract early to facilitate a return to Girona, although he has other offers.

Meanwhile, Inaki Pena is certain to leave following Joan Garcia’s arrival. Celta Vigo and Valencia are interested, but none can match his current salary. The Blaugrana may cover part of the termination cost and retain a percentage of future transfer rights.
The sporting department, which now has increased authority over the reserve team, is also exploring sales from Barça Atletic.
One active case is Noah Darvich, who has offers from Bundesliga sides Stuttgart and Bayer Leverkusen. Barcelona are prioritising a buy-back clause in any deal. German reports suggest offers of around €4 million.
Other players such as Mamadou Mbacke and Alan Godoy are attracting interest, although no formal bids have been made.
From the aforementioned operations and with the confirmed exit of Alex Valle and proceeds from former star Jean-Clair Todibo’s move to West Ham United, Barcelona expect to raise around €30 million and, crucially, save approximately €20 million in salaries.
