Barcelona receive transfer bid from the Premier League | OneFootball

La Liga giants Barcelona were this week on the receiving end of a transfer proposal by way of the Premier League.

That’s according to market insider Jacob Steinberg, who points towards Marc Casadó as the subject of the bid in question.

The name of youngster Casadó has of course returned to the forefront of the headlines in Barcelona over the last 24 hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the 21-year-old has made his way onto the radar of not one, but two Premier League clubs.

As per the reliable Matteo Moretto, writing for Marca, both West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers are eyeing late-window deals for Casadó.

And as alluded to above, if ensuing word doing the rounds on Wednesday is anything to go by, the former of these clubs have since gone as far as to table a bid.

As per a report from the aforementioned Jacob Steinberg:

‘West Ham made a bid for Barcelona midfielder Marc Casado yesterday. Unlikely to be successful.’
