Arsenal are working on a deal to sign Bayer Leverkusen’s Piero Hincapie with Tottenham also approaching the Bundesliga side for the defender.

As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Thomas Frank’s side are looking to sign the Ecuadorian defender, with a loan deal with an obligation to buy for €60m in 2026 sent across to the German side.

Hincapie, who had been linked to Atletico Madrid earlier in the transfer window, is said to want to leave Leverkusen this summer.

However, David Ornstein reports that Arsenal are also working on a deal to sign the defender, with his priority being the Gunners. A deal for the 23-year-old can only be done if Arsenal are able to sort out numerous player exits.

The Independent say Spurs are still interested in signing Manchester City winger Savinho after missing out on Eberechi Eze to Arsenal. However, the two clubs are still far apart in their valuation of the Brazilian, who only joined City last summer.

Talksport say the north Londoners are willing to pay up £60.7m for the 21-year-old, who is said to be keen on the move.

A host of Premier League clubs including Manchester City, Liverpool and Arsenal are showing an interest in signing Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, Marca report. However, Los Blancos are yet to receive any bids for the 24-year-old, who has struggled for game time since the arrival of Xabi Alonso as manager.

Villarreal forward Yeremy Pino is on Crystal Palace chairman Steve Parish’s radar to replace Eberechi Eze, whilst head coach Oliver Glasner wants Club Brugge winger Christos Tzolis, the Sun says.

Tzolis, who has been a huge success in Belgium since his struggles at Norwich City, contributed to 37 goals during the 2024/25 season as he helped Brugge make it to the Champions League last 16. Spanish international Pino, 22, contributed to 12 goals in La Liga as he helped the Yellow Submarines qualify for the Champions League.

The Mail report Aston Villa and Tottenham are interested in signing West Ham’s Lucas Paqueta. The Hammers have already sold Mohammed Kudus to their north London rivals early in the transfer window, whilst Unai Emery’s Villa have financial restrictions, as they look for targets in other areas.
