AC Milan are exploring new options for their right flank, considering Manchester United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Manchester City’s Issa Kaboré.

The search comes as Tottenham’s demands for Emerson Royal prove too high for Milan’s liking.

Tottenham have not been flexible regarding Emerson Royal’s transfer, maintaining a valuation of €25 million, while Milan’s initial offer was €15 million including bonuses.

Despite Emerson Royal’s interest in joining Milan, the financial gap remains a significant hurdle, with Al Nassr also competing for his signature.

Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan have turned their attention to Wan-Bissaka and Kaboré, both of whom have contracts expiring in June 2025.

Wan-Bissaka has been on the periphery of the squad and could be available for a modest fee.

His potential move to Milan could provide a solid defensive option, complementing the existing squad depth.

Issa Kaboré, a 23-year-old from Man City, has had multiple loan spells in Belgium, France, and with Luton Town, but has yet to secure a place under Pep Guardiola.

With limited prospects at City, Kaboré’s agents have offered him to Milan, who are now considering both him and Wan-Bissaka as viable alternatives to Emerson Royal.

Tottenham’s reluctance to lower their valuation for Emerson Royal has forced Milan to seek alternatives.

The Rossoneri need reinforcements for their right flank, especially with captain Davide Calabria as the only established option following the likely departure of Alessandro Florenzi and the adaptable Pierre Kalulu.

Coach Paulo Fonseca’s priority is still Alvaro Morata, but shoring up the defence remains crucial.

Wan-Bissaka, who has struggled to secure a regular starting spot at United, offers a blend of defensive solidity and Premier League experience.

His potential transfer to Milan could revitalise his career while addressing a key area for the Italian side.

Kaboré, on the other hand, represents a younger, more dynamic option.

His versatility and experience across different leagues make him an attractive prospect for Milan.

The club’s management is keen to ensure they have multiple options, given the challenges in securing Emerson Royal.
