Ilias Chair is someone who isn't leaving Loftus Road for definite, but judging by his contract situation and the R's poor start, he could be someone in the frame to leave the club, and could be followed by others.

Chair's contract expires next summer, but has the possibility of a one-year extension, which could be seen as a positive, but January and next summer will be the last chance Rangers can secure a fee for the winger.

The Moroccan may be unhappy with the club's position, wanting a step-up the ladder, and after reported interest from Leeds United in the summer, it could heighten Chair's ambition to leave Loftus Road, knowing those with the Premier League in sight could be keen.

There is no concrete evidence he will be one to definitely leave, but it feels like a possibility. Here, we look at another three players who could follow him out this January.

Elijah Dixon-Bonner

Elijah Dixon-Bonner is now into his third season with QPR and has so far amassed just over 30 appearances with the West London side.

The former Liverpool and Arsenal academy midfielder had lots of excitement when he joined the club in 2022, but it has been everything but successful.

His game-time is limited, and he is struggling to get into the side, but this doesn't mean he should be leaving Rangers on a permanent basis.

QPR boss, Marti Cifuentes, was full of praise for the 23-year-old after a strong 2023/24 season, and Dixon-Bonner was awarded with a new deal in June 2024.

Speaking to West London Sport, Cifuentes said: “He’s a good player, a young player that can develop a lot and can help us a lot in the future.”

Despite this claim from the Spaniard, the midfielder has taken a tumble down the pecking order.

This could be due to the new additions of Nicolas Madsen and Jonathan Varane in the summer, with Dixon-Bonner potentially favouring a loan move in the winter, and with interest in the youngster in the past, it could be a great move for all parties.

Rayan Kolli

Another potential loan move from the R's in January is Algerian forward Rayan Kolli.

Kolli has featured this season, coming off the bench against Plymouth Argyle and the season opener versus West Brom.

The 19-year-old has impressed in the academy and, after being integrated into the first team last campaign, it could be time for a loan move for the youngster.

Consistent game time could be the perfect solution for both him and Cifuentes, with the Spaniard surely keen on Kolli after he impressed with the academy.

A loan move could bring the best out of a star like Kolli.

Lorent Talla

Similar to Kolli, Lorent Talla is a young and exciting player coming through the ranks at QPR.

The Kosovan made his debut for the R's in their 2023/24 campaign, coming off the bench in their 3-2 defeat at home to Bournemouth.

Talla suffered a significant long-term injury which hurt his development a couple of years ago, but now he is trying his hand at building his reputation again at youth level.

A loan move could be the perfect solution for Talla, to get a real taste of professional football.

The 19-year-old plays in the number ten role, and clubs around League Two and the National League could be seeking someone of his talents.
