Rasheedat Ajibade was crowned the best player of the 2024 Women's AFCON, playing a pivotal role in securing Nigeria's tenth title in the competition.
The Super Falcons' captain was named 'Player of the Match' three times during the tournament, which took place from July 5 to 26, 2025.
Rasheedat Ajibade has truly endured a tough journey to reach the top. Life was far from easy, as the Nigerian star revealed during a testimony at the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM) in Ogun State.
"When things get tough at my club or with the national team, I pray. I do my part by working hard, but I never forget to ask for God's help," she said.
She then opened up about her painful childhood: "I was one of those young girls selling olive oil, Kunu, and Zobo at deliverance programs. But today, I give all the glory to God. Please, don't give up; keep praying, fasting, working hard, and believing in your dreams."
