Barcelona locked horns with Rayo Vallecano at the Estadio de Vallecas earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a positive result on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a decent start to the contest and scored the opening goal in the 40th minute thanks to Lamine Yamal’s penalty. Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 to the good.

Fran Perez equalised for the home team in the 67th minute as the contest finished with Barcelona being held to a lackluster 1-1 draw away from home.

De Jong anchored the midfield with conviction and made one good chance in the final third.
