Wolves recorded back-to-back seventh place finishes upon their return to the Premier League after winning the Championship in 2018. In their second campaign, the Black Country outfit enjoyed a run to the quarter-finals of the Europa League, where they would lose out to eventual champions Sevilla.

Last season:

Portuguese boss Vítor Pereira replaced Gary O'Neil midway through the previous season and guided his new side to a 16th-place finish. Brazilian international Matheus Cunha starred with 15 goals in the top-flight before leaving the club earlier this summer.

One to watch:

Midfielder João Gomes joined Wolves from Brazilian giants Flamengo in 2023 and has since gone on to feature 81 times in the Premier League. The versatile 24-year-old has represented his national team on 10 occasions, making his Brazil debut in a friendly against England.
