Barcelona will clash heads with Mallorca at the Mallorca Son Moix Stadium this Saturday evening as they hope to secure a win on the road in their La Liga season opener. The Catalan club secured a dominant 4-0 victory over Como in a recent pre-season friendly match, which could keep their spirits high ahead of this clash.
Hansi Flick will set his men up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to name a strong starting XI for this game. Ferran Torres and Jules Kounde could get a chance to impress from the start of this contest versus Mallorca.
Joan Garcia will operate in between the sticks for the Catalan club after keeping a clean sheet in his last outing. Pau Cubarsi will resume his partnership with Ronald Araujo at the centre of the Barca backline as they look to keep things solid on the defensive end of the field.
Jules Kounde will fill in as the right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them would have to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Eric Garcia and Hector Fort will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.

Frenkie de Jong and Pedri will function as the holding midfielders as they look to dominate the game at the centre of the park.
The gifted trio of Raphinha, Fermin Lopez and Lamine Yamal will play just ahead of them as part of Barcelona‘s attack. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if the Catalan club want to secure a convincing victory this weekend.
Gavi will have to be content with a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Ferran Torres will spearhead Flick’s attack in the final third. The Spaniard would be keen on scoring and getting his season off to a good start this weekend.
Robert Lewandowski is a major doubt for this game. However, Marcus Rashford will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the contest if needed.
