Aberdeen headed to Celtic Park sitting level on points with Celtic at the top of the Scottish Premiership table following a perfect start of seven wins from seven games.

There was ten minutes added on at Celtic Park and the Dons were put under huge pressure towards the end of the game, but they held on.

McManus admits he felt that Celtic would just get on top of Aberdeen, but held his hands up after that did not happen.

He feels Aberdeen will now be full of confidence after the draw.

“Some comeback from Aberdeen”, McManus wrote on X.

“The biggest test yet and have come through adversity 2-0 down at Parkhead to get a great point and will take a ton of confidence from that result.

“I thought Celtic would run over the top of them but I was wrong.

“Well done the Dons.”

As well as staying level on points with Celtic, Aberdeen have also grown their lead over third placed Rangers, who are in action on Sunday.
