Tony Ralston has been named in Steve Clarke’s Scotland team for this evening’s game against Portugal. The Celtic fullback started the game on Thursday against Poland and starts the Estadio da Luz in Portugal.

The fullback starts just hours after Celtic were dealt with a potential injury blow after Alistair Johnston was subbed off with a suspected hamstring issue. It remains to be seen the extent of the issue but fans will be hoping that his deputy can come out of the game this evening without any issues.

In goals, Angus Gunn starts.

In defence, it appears to be a back four comprising of Ralston, Scott McKenna and Grant Hanley with Liverpool’s Andy Robertson at left back.

In midfield, Billy Gilmour starts with Kenny McLean, John McGinn and Scott McTominay.

In attack, Lyndon Dykes and Ryan Christie start.

Subs: Jon McCracken, Zander Clark, Lawrence Shankland, Josh Doig, Connor Barron, Ryan Porteous, John Souttar, Ben Doak, Lewis Morgan, Tommy Conway, Ryan Gauld, Max Johnston.

Ralston is the only Celt representing in the National Team after James Forrest and Greg Taylor withdrew due to knocks. The duo played in the 3-0 win over Rangers but were forced to withdraw after picking up slight knocks.
